"Happy Easter!!!!!!" The joy in such a simple statement echo'd throughout the hall as the hundreds of children sang to the heavens. Anticipation etched on every face as they strained to be patient enough to wait for the Easter Bunny to have brought the eggs in two days time. Their morphic fields merged until they were almost a single being, one huge excited force silently screaming for chocolate.

Happy Easter! The words rang through my lonely house as I realised how empty my life was. Everyone had gone, I was bereft of human company. But, I had my chocolate. That was all I needed this easter. Turning the music off of my phone. I glanced down. Reading rapidly, my phone dropped to the floor as I ran to check the door was locked.

Happy Easter! Again, the words from the cheery man speaking to me through the radio sounded through my empty house. It had been a year since I'd had my last text from A. The nightmare had ended, and after that text I had received no more. I felt like I could breathe. My broken friendships had been mostly resolved, and tonight Spencer had invited us all to her house for an Easter dinner with her family. Sure, my house was empty, but my heart wasn't anymore. Neither was my waistband. No chocolate for Hefty Hanna this year. I fixed the bunny ears onto my head, the white ears poking out from my blonde voluminous hair. My phone buzzed, and I jumped for it. It was probably Aria asking what I was wearing.
